Why Yoga?

Yoga is so good for all of us in so many ways.  Studies show that kids and adults who do yoga have increased focus, concentration, and sense of calm.  

Everyone needs to take care of their body, and everyone can do yoga. You can be completely flexible to the point of wrapping your leg behind your head, or, so stiff you can barely reach your knees, let alone your toes. It doesn't matter. When you hit your mat, you are doing your perfect practice, whatever that means for your body.

Yoga improves:
-blood circulation
-flexibility, coordination, balance
-strength
-digestion
-relaxation and stress coping skills

In each yoga class, you push yourself to your own edge. Your practice is personal. You do what you can do in a safe place without judgement, competition, or criticism. I am here to guide you to your personal best.

No matter how hard it is to drag yourself to class, you are always glad you came. Yoga makes your feel great! It is rejuvenating, invigorating, and peaceful all a the same time.
