Mats for Peace

Currently, I teach in seven different public schools.  I also teach for other youth organizations such as girl scouts, mom's groups, etc...  Due to so much yoga traffic, my mats are getting worn out quickly.  If you have a lightly used mat that you are no longer using, would you please consider donating it to Little Yoga Sunshine?  The children would greatly appreciate it.  Send me an email at hjyoga@gmail.com, and I will gladly connect with you to come pick it up.

Holiday Session starts tomorrow!!!!!

Stay sane and in shape for the holidays!!!!

It's hard to believe, but, it's true.  The Holidays will be here before we know it.  We kick off with the yummy halloween treats, and its sugar spiral from there.  Even when we eat as healthy as possible, there is still the stress of the holidays.  Don't get me wrong, the holidays are an awesome time to connect with friends and family, but that also means organizing and arranging dinners, parties, gifts, etc...  No matter how centered or calm you are, you will still be under some stress.

So, what do we do?  Yoga.

Yoga keeps you sane.  (Many, many people can vouch for this).  Yoga keeps you in shape.  Yoga helps you breathe.  Yoga helps you focus.  Yoga keeps you balanced.

Give yourself the gift of yoga this holiday season.  I am starting an 8 week course at the beginning of November.  This will get you through the holidays feeling great.  Here is an outline of what we will do:

Week 1: Getting to know the routine.
Week 2: Focus on breath, prana, your inner power.
Week 3: Focus on Dhristhi, your gaze, your focus
Week 4: Flexibility--physically, emotionally, mentally
Week 5: Balance
Week 6: Strength
Week 7: Go with the flow--flowing from pose to pose, flowing from situation to the next
Week 8: Mind/Body/Spirit Connection

These classes are for all levels.

I will be offering 3 classes/week.  You can take one, two, or all three.  The cost will be $10/class in advance ($80/once/week, $160/twice/week, or $240 3 classes/week).  You can buy a punch pass, or pay for a certain time slot.  Drop in fee will be $12/class.  All classes will be held at A&HT Church, 334 Burns Ave, Wyoming, OH 45215.

Class times:
Tues: 6:15 a.m.
Wed: 6:30 p.m.
Sat: 8:30 am

8 week session begins on Nov. 1st.

I suggest registering for at least once/week for the course.  Making a commitment to yourself, the class, to me, and mostly financially, will motivate you to get there.  Sometimes we have every intention of doing something, but if we haven't truly committed to it, then time tends to get away from us, and we end up not making it to class. Yoga is a proven way to stay in shape and keep stress at bay.  Do this for yourself.  Your family and friends will benefit as well :)
